ABOUT TRUE NORTH

The Block is a community complex developed by True North Church. 

It began out of a vision to take what was once a vacant block of land on the corner of Connolly Drive and Jenolan Way, and transform it into a vibrant centre for the community.

We believe that communities grow stronger when they are connected, and our vision for The Block is:

to be a place that brings people together, a place that lifts the spirit, inspires the soul, and infuses the local area with a sense of life and vitality. 

Whether dropping a child at our early learning centre, catching up with friends over a coffee, attending a parenting seminar one evening, or dropping by for church on a Sunday morning, there are an incredible variety of things you can do at The Block!

FACILITIES @ THE BLOCK

The Block is home to a variety of small, medium, and large meeting spaces, with limitless possibilities.

All of these spaces can be hired and used by community groups, commercial enterprises, service providers, local government, or any other group looking for a facility for their event or program. We want The Block to connect, inspire and resource our community! 

  • Large group gatherings (400 person seating capacity)

  • Medium group gatherings (150 person seating capacity

  • Small group gatherings (from 3 – 50 person spaces)
